The New Media program is a new approach to teaching journalism. The program will be of interest to students who want to learn how to create their own media, monetize and promote them, create multi-format content: video blogs, podcasts, text blogs, online media, media in messengers and blog platforms, independent media.
The feature of the program is an immersion of students into the topic of immersive media, creating content in VR, AR, MR formats for multiverse.
Students will create their own media during their studies and launch it as a start-up. That is, by the end of their studies, students will not only have the skills to create media content, but also understand the stages of development of a media start-up and its monetization.
The program is suitable for those who are ready to learn journalism, approaches in new media, are ready to create text and multimedia content, are interested in creating their own blogs and a media start-up.

Academic paths: Directing/Screenwriting/Cinematography/Producing.
Filmmaking is the process of creating a movie, starting from the moment of writing the script and ending with work on editing and color correction of the finished film.
The Digital Filmmaking program includes all stages of the modern film creation process and offers applicants a unique opportunity already in the first year to try their hand at different professions – to learn how to tell stories and write scripts; organize the filming process; shoot and edit videos – before deciding which of the areas of the film industry to associate their future career with.
The faculty consists of acting directors, screenwriters and producers with extensive experience in filming and promoting films internationally.
Students actively cooperate with Kazakhfilm, Medior, Tiger Films, Idea Cinema and others film companies. They take part in projects of the State Center for the Support of National Cinema, filming movies and television series, including such as «Soldier of Love», «Fragrant Heart».
Students have experience in working with such directors as Akan Satayev, Adilkhan Yerzhanov, Farkhat Sharipov, Aidyn Sakhaman.
This program is suitable for students who want to visit a real film set, find out how the studio works from the inside, as well as make many professional acquaintances with masters of domestic cinema and potential employers.

The Acting for Film program is a unique program that provides an opportunity to comprehensively study the film industry, develop practical and technical skills.
The learning process is built on a “simple-to-complex” basis. Students get acquainted with acting techniques, from the first year of study they work in front of a camera with professional lighting equipment, learn to record self–casting sessions, work on speech and plastics, gain skills in performing stunt tricks, work with roles of different film genres – drama, comedy, action, period and musical films.
While studying under this program, the student learns not only acting skills, but also the basics of writing a script, working with photography, film and sound recording equipment, the basics of art project management, law in the film industry, and the processes of creating staged projects.
