Description

Advisors – performs the functions of an academic mentor of a student in the relevant educational program, assists the student in forming an individual curriculum from the disciplines of choice and mastering the educational program during the study period.

Advisors advise students on explaining AlmaU’s academic rules and procedures and academic degree requirements and provide information on available resources at the university.

The Advising center works with students of all full-time courses, advises on scheduled registration for disciplines and teachers, supports students with academic difficulties, provides individual consultations that take into account the special needs of each student, and, if necessary, directs them to the appropriate offices.

The mission of our team is to provide high-quality consulting support to students in their educational plans, contributing to their successful development and achieving their individual goals.

    A student can transfer to another EP subject to the absence of academic debts in the first semester of the first year and with a difference of no more than 5 disciplines. To transfer to another EP, the student must write an application in the personal account of AIS “Platonus” for transfer within the university from one EP to another, with the provision of an academic transcript to calculate the difference. If there is a difference of no more than 5 disciplines, a transfer order is issued, after signing the order in the student’s personal account, the EP, the language of instruction is changed. Next, the order is sent to the advising center, where the student must register for the discipline again according to his EP. The difference that will be revealed is rented on a fee basis.

    If there are academic debts (retail) or differences, the student can close them in the autumn/spring semester or during the summer semester.

    In the first week of the fall/spring semester, the student looks at the class schedule of all courses and finds the discipline for which there is a debt (retail/ difference).

    Chooses the best option so that there are no overlaps and conflicts in the schedule of basic classes and debt. The student can register for retail / difference by sending a link from the advising center, where you specify your details.

    Registration for the summer semester takes place after the end of the spring session and only for those disciplines that will take place in the main summer semester. After the release of the schedule, the student must approach and make an appointment for retail / difference at the Advising Center.
