Center for Sustainable Development & ESG

The main tasks of the center:

1. Implementation of projects commissioned by government agencies, international organizations (such as the UN, USAID, UNDP, European Commission, etc.), corporate business sector (ERG, TCO, KAZ Minerals, Samsung, Kazatomprom, etc.).
2. Implementation of research projects with the subsequent implementation of the results in the educational process of the university. As well as the presentation of research results at the annual SDG conference in AlmaU with the release of a booklet.
3. To promote the development of international cooperation between AlmaU and universities and organizations from around the world on sustainable development.
4. Organizing and conducting corporate trainings and seminars on Sustainable Development Goals for NGOs and the corporate sector
5. Organization and holding of forums, conferences, strategic sessions, sections, round tables, seminars, debates on the topics of the Center for Sustainable Development.
6. Creation and development of the SDG sec Student Club
7. Popularization of the SDGs among schoolchildren and students, as well as the population of Kazakhstan
