AlmaU launches digital literacy courses for pensioners in cooperation with the Connect-Ed Public Foundation

13.10.2023

This spring  AlmaU hosted courses on digital literacy organized in partnership with this foundation. Connect-Ed provides free digital literacy training for children and senior citizens so that they can adapt to the rapidly changing world of technology.

AlmaU and the Connect-Ed Foundation also started collecting outdated devices, removing unnecessary programs and upgrading devices to ensure more comfortable use of technology for schoolchildren from low-income families.

The next important stage of the partnership is the launch of digital literacy courses for pensioners, which will begin on November 1. These courses will be available in both Kazakh and Russian. The course program aims to make it easy for retirees to use smartphones, including using banking applications, applying for government services and other aspects.

AlmaU and the Connect-Ed Public Foundation are actively promoting this project, aiming to make digital literacy accessible to senior citizens. After all, in this way we can help them live freely in a digital society.
