A meeting with the Embassy of France qas held at AlmaU

24.02.2026

On February 20, the University hosted an information session titled «Scholarship Programs for Studying in France». The event was organized with the participation of Campus France, the French national agency for the promotion of higher education abroad (represented in 130 countries worldwide), as well as representatives of the Embassy of France in Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, students received detailed information about opportunities to apply for Master’s and PhD programs in France, the specifics of the French higher education system, admission requirements, and the application process.

Special attention was given to the scholarship programs of the Embassy of France in Kazakhstan, including the Abai-Vern and MOPGA – Master Kazakhstan grants, which provide significant academic and research development opportunities for students and young researchers.

The speaker of the session was Nazerke Mukhtarkyzy, Coordinator for University, Cultural, and Linguistic Cooperation at the Embassy of France in Kazakhstan. During the open discussion, participants received professional guidance on preparing application documents, selecting academic programs, and participating in scholarship competitions.

The meeting was attended by 2nd-3rd year undergraduate students and 1st-2nd year Master’s students. The event became an important platform for obtaining up-to-date information, expanding academic opportunities, and shaping international educational pathways.

We thank all participants for their interest and active engagement!
