AlmaU aims to achieve further energy savings by closely monitoring energy consumption management. Currently, the entire building is equipped with energy-efficient lighting. Responsible energy consumption is promoted throughout the campus. The lighting is energy-saving, and in some hallways, it automatically turns off.
AlmaU is actively implementing energy-saving technologies to enhance the campus’s energy efficiency. As part of this initiative, we use LED-based light fixtures and install light sensors in restrooms. Additionally, we are gradually replacing air conditioners with inverter models, which consume significantly less electricity. These measures contribute to reducing energy costs and minimizing the negative environmental impact.
University regularly organize discussions and events aimed at raising awareness about sustainable energy consumption among local communities and students. SDG Legion Club participated in the USAID Power Central Asia initiative to witness firsthand the process of harnessing solar energy and converting it into clean electricity.
AlmaU organize lectures and workshops on renewable energy solutions, and carry out research to develop new approaches in this field.
