On October 8, 2025, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between SDG Alliance and EI ‘Almaty Management University’ (AlmaU).
On behalf of AlmaU, the Memorandum was signed by Sholpan Tazabek, Vice-Rector for Global Partnerships, and on behalf of the SDG Alliance, by Amirzhan Zhumakhan, Director of Strategic Partnerships
The document aims to develop partnerships in promoting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), jointly implementing projects in the areas of ecology, sustainable finance, and social responsibility, as well as integrating sustainability principles into the educational process.
As part of the agreement, the parties agreed to develop and implement joint educational programs, organize internships and practical training for students, and facilitate the employment of AlmaU graduates
The signing of the Memorandum marked an important step in developing AlmaU’s academic and professional engagement with representatives of the business and sustainable development sectors, opening up new opportunities for the university’s students and faculty
