On June 20, 2025, AlmaU hosted the offline event “AI for Her” Meet–up Pro, organized by Women in Tech Kazakhstan as part of the Women in Innovations and AI initiative. The event was partnered by EPAM Kazakhstan, Herbalife, the Association for the Development of Artificial Intelligence in Kazakhstan, the Social Dynamics Public Foundation, Darlean.kz, and AlmaU. The event was part of the second stage of the online course “AI Tools for Personal Effectiveness,” launched in early June for Women in Tech participants. Madina Dusmagambetova, Team Leader of Women in Innovations and AI, served as moderator.
AlmaU Rector Gulnara Kurenkeeva addressed the participants with a welcoming speech:
“Women in Tech is developing a female community in the rather challenging IT industry. Systematization, discipline, and the ability to build communication are qualities inherent in many women, and it is these qualities that often determine the success of projects. Today, women have the opportunity to learn new digital tools, become competitive, and make their mark on the world stage. We are happy to be part of such initiatives,” she shared.
Asem Bolatjan, CEO of Women in Tech Kazakhstan, spoke about the organization’s mission:
“We promote technology and strive to encourage more girls to try their hand at IT, develop in this field, and keep up with technological progress. Our goal is to nurture a new generation of women leaders capable of representing Kazakhstan on the global stage.”
The event program included presentations by women entrepreneurs and practical master classes. AI integrator and founder of NeoAI Solutions Mauthan Aydin held a session on “The Real Benefits of AI: An Overview of the Most Effective Tools,” where he shared his experience of training specialists in more than 30 large companies.
Chatbot architect Erdos Abzhamiev held a master class on “How to create a landing page using AI,” demonstrating the practical application of digital tools.
Such events help to create an environment in which women can develop professionally, establish new business connections, master relevant digital skills, and move forward with confidence.
