Almaty Management University has officially joined the UN Climate Change Universities Partnership Programme – a global initiative of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) that brings together universities from around the world to advance knowledge and develop practical solutions in the field of climate change adaptation.
Participation in the programme opens new opportunities for AlmaU to engage students and faculty in international initiatives aimed at enhancing climate resilience, developing and implementing adaptation solutions, and contributing to sustainable development.
Within the framework of the partnership, AlmaU students will carry out applied projects and research in climate adaptation and resilience, gaining access to an international network of academic institutions and experts, enabling the exchange of knowledge and best practices at the global level.
The UN Climate Change Universities Partnership Programme is part of UNFCCC’s work to support the scientific community and youth in responding to the global challenges of climate change.
