AlmaU has graduated the third cohort of specialists with a qualification in neuromarketing

On Friday, January 23, AlmaU completed the third annual intensive professional development course “Theory and Practice of Neuromarketing”, held at the Neuromarketing and Neuromanagement Laboratory of the School of Management and Tourism. Over two weeks and 72 academic hours, participants deeply studied modern methods of consumer behavior research, combining fundamental theoretical approaches with practical neuromarketing studies.

This year, the course attracted a wide professional audience. Participants included not only faculty members but also practicing specialists and company representatives. This interdisciplinary approach allowed participants to explore neuromarketing both from an academic perspective and in real business contexts.

The course was conducted by leading AlmaU experts:

  • Madina Smikova – Professor, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor

  • Akdana Abuzhalitova – Senior Lecturer, Head of the Neuromarketing and Neuromanagement Laboratory

  • Gulsanat Bekenova – Lecturer, Junior Researcher

On Friday, the course continued with the defense of applied projects developed in teams. Participants presented the results of their experiments – from evaluating website attractiveness to analyzing customer experience in food service areas. The program concluded with a ceremony of awarding professional development certificates, presented by the Vice-Rector for Science and Commercialization, Renata Kudaybergenova, and the Dean of the School of Management and Tourism, Azamat Auezhanuly.
