AlmaU hosted an information session from representatives of the University of Minnesota

On October 10, 2024, AlmaU welcomed guests from the University of Minnesota, one of the leading research universities in the United States and the world. The delegation came to establish cooperation with our university and to hold an information session for students of bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programs, as well as AlmaU faculty and staff.

The delegation included:

  • – Michael Rodriguez, Professor, CEHD Dean; Campbell Leadership Chair in Education and Human Development.
  • – Michael Goh, Professor; Campbell Leadership Chair in Education and Human Development; Coordinator of Graduate Programs in Higher Education
  • – Bhaskar Upadhyay, Professor; Director of Graduate Studies

The information session, which was organized by the College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) at the University of Minnesota, provided a unique opportunity for participants to learn about master’s and doctoral programs, as well as internship programs for faculty and researchers. UMN representatives presented details about academic mobility opportunities and how AlmaU faculty and staff can participate in international exchanges, research internships and projects.

The session attracted keen interest of the participants, who actively asked questions on study programs, admission requirements, grants and research opportunities. The delegation also discussed the prospects of partnership development between AlmaU and the University of Minnesota, including joint research projects and academic exchanges.

This important event demonstrates AlmaU’s commitment to expanding international cooperation and strengthening its position in the global educational arena, opening new opportunities for students, faculty and staff.
