On August 29, 2024, AlmaU University held a virtual Pitch Day dedicated to startup projects in the field of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The event, held online via the ZOOM platform, brought together participants from various universities and business organizations interested in cooperation and support for innovative ideas.
During the event, students and young entrepreneurs presented their projects, such as:

“Innovative solutions for families with special children” (Sagadieva R.)
“Akyldy Food Supplements (AFS) – production of dietary supplements to stimulate the growth of brain neurons” (Tastanbekov D.)
“Mansap4U: a platform for youth employment” (Smagul A.)
“Bio Drop – a device for robotic biosecurity of plants from pests” (Fazylbekov R.)
“Development of water-saving technologies by creating polymer hydrogels and composites based on them” (Zhunusbekova N.)
“Trainings on the implementation of eco–standards in business processes” (Mukhamedzhanov E.) “Cities are living organisms” (Oruzbayev T.)
“Phytocapture technologies” (Dupri B.)
“Neuroguard: software for analyzing MRI images and detecting indicators of dementia” (Sakenova K.)
UN experts and representatives of the business community actively discussed the proposed initiatives and shared their recommendations.
Pitch Day has become an excellent platform for exchanging ideas and establishing contacts between future leaders and experienced professionals. The organizers are confident that such initiatives contribute not only to the development of startups, but also to the formation of a sustainable future.
