Erasmus +
Erasmus+ is a European funding programme created in 1987, which since 2014 offers Kazakhstani students the opportunity to study at one of the Erasmus+ Partner universities in Europe for one or two semesters.
Erasmus+ is a programme of the European Union aimed at supporting projects, cooperation, academic mobility in the fields of education, training, sport and youth policy.
The Erasmus+ programme aims to further promote the modernization and sustainable development of education and training systems, support the development of youth policy and sport, as well as improve skills and thus improve the employability of people. The new programme envisages a significant increase in investment in human development.
The Erasmus+ student mobility programme is a unique opportunity for students to combine foreign travel and cultural experience with their studies.
Each student receives a grant that partially or fully covers their living/staying expenses abroad. Students should be aware that in most cases the Erasmus+ grant does not always cover all living expenses. The amount of the scholarship varies between the sending and receiving countries.
Fee-paying students who go on an exchange within the Erasmus+ programme continue to pay their tuition fees according to the contract at AlmaU, but study at the host university free of charge.
Candidates are selected based on the results of the competition. The scholarship is awarded based on the decision of the selection committee and the approval of the selected candidates by the partner university.
Erasmus+ partners are universities in the European region. This list is updated annually.
AlmaU students and staff are actively participating in the Erasmus+ academic mobility program! We invite everyone to apply for this program!
