From October 6 to 11 AlmaU hosted guests from Wroclaw Business University of Applied Sciences (WAB, Poland). Marta Drozdowska, Vice-Rector for Science and International Relations, and Anna Pilarek, International Relations Specialist, visited the university within the Erasmus+ program.
Marta Drozdovska gave 8 hours of lectures on topical topics: Sustainable Leadership and World’s Mega Trends Regarding Sustainability. The lectures attracted students from various specialties: management, restaurant and hotel business, tourism, international relations, economics and logistics. These presentations were an important contribution to the students’ knowledge of current trends and challenges in the field of sustainable development.
The visit also included meetings with the administration of AlmaU, where the prospects for further cooperation and strengthening of partnerships between the universities were discussed.
In addition, Marta Drozdowska and Anna Pilarek participated in the Silk Road Business Training Program organized jointly by AlmaU and Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics (ZUFE). The program became a platform for sharing knowledge and practical skills in the field of business in China and Chinese culture.
The International Cooperation Department of AlmaU prepared a busy cultural program for the guests. The guests visited the Black Canyon, Kolsai and Kaindy Lakes, Shymbulak ski resort, where they could enjoy the stunning views and atmosphere of Almaty and go horseback riding.
This visit was an important step in strengthening international partnership and exchange of experience, contributing to the development of academic and cultural relations between universities.
