Almaty Management University’s campus is situated in a scenic and ecologically clean area of Almaty, offering a comfortable environment for students across all academic programs. The university encompasses three academic buildings, spanning a total area of approximately 16,000 square meters.
We are committed to creating an optimal environment for successful learning by providing students with everything they need—from state-of-the-art classrooms and a well-equipped library to cozy lounge areas and collaborative workspaces.
The university features 59 classrooms equipped with interactive technology and TVs to enhance the learning experience.
The university provides 15 laboratories equipped with the latest technology to support research and hands-on training. These specialized spaces—including the Neuromarketing Lab, Public Speaking Lab, Jalinga Studio, Sound Recording Studio, and Virtual Production Studio—offer students the opportunity to develop their skills and gain practical experience.
These labs empower students to unlock their potential and apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios, working with innovative equipment and advanced technologies.
AlmaU Open Library ranks as one of the leading modern university libraries in Kazakhstan.
Bachelor’s and master’s students, as well as DBA and MBA participants, along with faculty and staff, have access to a collection of over 200 000 printed publications and more than 50 000 electronic titles.
The library’s collections are also open to city residents, providing them with the opportunity to take advantage of its extensive offerings.
The Atrium “Grand Hall” in the AlmaU Knowledge Building is a distinctive space designed to enhance communication and interaction between faculty and students. Its open architecture and glass roof foster a bright and inviting atmosphere, making it ideal for a variety of events. This versatile venue can host not only educational activities such as forums and conferences but also cultural events like concerts, literary evenings, and exhibitions.
In addition, we offer the Creative Zone coworking space for developing business ideas and projects, along with the Qaynar Bylaq Almaty open area, designed to host various social and educational events.
The university provides a variety of dining options to suit every taste:
• A spacious canteen offering a wide selection of dishes; Capacity: 150;
• A café located on the first floor of the AlmaU Knowledge Building; Capacity: 60;
• Crema Café,’ a coffee shop on the third floor; Capacity: 40;
• Another café on the fourth floor; Capacity: 60;
• Convenient coffee and vending machines with snacks and sweets around campus;
• five drinking fountains equipped with advanced three-stage water filtration systems for clean, purified water.
The university offers a wide variety of dishes to cater to diverse tastes and dietary preferences. The menu features traditional, halal, vegetarian, vegan dietary, and other unique options, ensuring something for everyone. Our goal is to make meals not only delicious and nutritious but also to support comfort and well-being throughout the academic day.
The university has a licensed medical center staffed by a qualified general practitioner and nurse, offering professional care and assistance to all who need it.
The university has implemented numerous accessibility features for individuals with for people with disabilities:
• All entrances to academic buildings are equipped with ramps, handrails, and call buttons.
• The six-story building has two elevators, while the four-story building has one.
• The service parking lot includes two designated parking spaces marked with accessibility signs.
• Five restroom facilities meet international standards and are equipped with call buttons.
• Tactile tiles for the visually impaired are installed leading to the central entrance.
• The library offers a screen reading program, and the university website includes special functions for visually impaired users.
• Some subscription resources provide licensed applications designed for convenience and accessibility.
• The library features areas with additional lighting and space for wheelchairs.
• An agreement with the Surdo Online platform ensures real-time sign language interpretation.
Additionally, the women’s restroom on the first floor is equipped with a changing table for the convenience of parents with small children.
The campus features two parking lots for staff, faculty, and students, providing a total of 120 parking spaces.
For security purposes, access to the university for students, trainees, faculty, and staff is granted through Face ID terminals. All other visitors are required to register at the entrance with university security using an ID card.
