Ideal Candidate Profile:
We’re seeking dynamic and experienced leaders who possess:
- Higher education and postgraduate qualifications
- An academic degree and academic titles
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in academic or administrative leadership
- At least 3 years of teaching and research experience in higher education
- Strong knowledge of academic operations and budgeting
- Familiarity with the Kazakhstani higher education and science regulatory framework
- Advanced digital literacy
- Experience developing and implementing academic programs
- Experience working with accreditation agencies
- Proven ability to organize and moderate academic conferences and forums
- Experience leading interdisciplinary and innovative educational projects
- A track record of securing external funding and managing successful projects
- Experience working with industry partners
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster collaborative team environments
- Fluency in English (Kazakh language is a plus)
- Familiarity with personal brand development
- Knowledge of AlmaU’s strategic goals (preferred)
