On March 21, 2026, in the city of Kyzylorda, with the support of the Akimat of Kyzylorda Region, the MBA AlmaU Impact Forum: “Leaders’ Dialogue” took place. The event brought together entrepreneurs, company executives, graduates of AlmaU’s MBA and DBA programs, as well as experts in business and leadership.
The central theme of the forum was the impact of entrepreneurship and business education on the development of the Kyzylorda region. In recent years, the region has increasingly faced new economic challenges: traditional industries are undergoing transformation, the structure of the labor market is changing, and the need to develop human capital is growing. In this context, business education has acquired particular significance as it shapes a new generation of managers and entrepreneurs.
Over the past few years, more than 150 participants in the Kyzylorda region have completed AlmaU’s MBA and DBA programs. Among them are entrepreneurs, top managers of large companies, representatives of the medical field, and government officials.
Within the forum, the well-known entrepreneur and personal branding expert Alisher Yelikbaev delivered a presentation on the topic “The Role of Personal Branding in Impact Leadership.”
Additionally, the Director of the AlmaU Graduate School of Business Representative Office, Akmaral Tokmurzieva, presented a dedicated presentation.
“An MBA is not merely an investment that yields financial returns. It is an investment in one’s level of thinking, the scope of decision-making, and the quality of life,” she emphasized.
AlmaU MBA program graduates also shared their experiences, demonstrating through specific case studies how business and education contribute to positive changes in the region.
The forum became an important platform for dialogue on new opportunities to develop the regional economy through entrepreneurship, education, and leadership.
