On February 12, a meeting was held at AlmaU with Azamat Toimbetov, President of PMI Kazakhstan Chapter. During the meeting, he granted the University the translated version of the Project Management Institute (PMI) standard in the Kazakh state language for free use.
The standard is used in the educational process for the course «Project Management» as well as minor programs in project management, including:
• «Standards and Principles of Project Management»
• «Project Team and Stakeholder Management»
• «Planning and Control in Project Management»
The transfer of the standard contributes to:
• the development of students’ professional competencies;
• ensuring compliance with international requirements in project management;
• expanding the use of the Kazakh language in professional and academic environments;
• integrating international standards into educational programs.
This initiative strengthens AlmaU’s academic ties with the international project management community and creates new opportunities for high-quality professional education.
