AlmaU University is actively implementing Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education). As part of this initiative, the university offers a wide range of educational programs not only for students, but also for the entire population. Among the events held by AlmaU are webinars, trainings and courses on topics that cover various fields of knowledge, including business, health, technology and social sciences.

University programs for the development of education

AlmaU dedicates awareness-raising activities to the community mainly through AlmaU Extension short programs, Institute for Education Development projects, Qaynar Bulaq events (coworking for community development through collaboration), the School’s projects, hiking and AlmaU Mountain Club trips. The course “Service Learning” is a unique project of the School of Politics and Law for the country, charity events are organized by the student clubs DOS, Remus and SDG Legion.
Almaty Management University has initiated the expansion of the academic programs of the institution to meet the rapidly growing demand for secondary education throughout Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

The university also organizes public lectures and conferences, attracting experts and practitioners, which creates a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience. These events promote the development of critical thinking and broaden the horizons of participants, which is especially important in a rapidly changing world.
AlmaU is actively involved in educational activities outside the campus, through various initiatives. One of the key programs is the activity of the Hunters AlmaU campaign team, brand ambassadors of the university. They conduct weekly career guidance rounds of schools in order to assist applicants in choosing a specialty and university for admission. This work covers both public and private schools in Almaty, as well as schools in nearby regions, as well as large cities of Kazakhstan such as Astana, Shymkent, Aktau, Atyrau, Uralsk, Semey, Taraz and others.
In addition, AlmaU organizes outdoor activities within the city of Almaty aimed at comprehensive support and motivation of applicants before passing the Unified National Testing (UNT). These activities not only help to relieve stress and support students during this important period, but also create a friendly atmosphere in which future students can feel the care and support from AlmaU. The program of such events includes congratulations to students on major holidays such as New Year, Nauryz, March 8 and May 7.

AlmaU also pays attention to the training of its employees, offering them the opportunity to take advanced training courses free of charge. This allows teachers and administrative staff to stay up to date with the latest trends and techniques in their field, which, in turn, enriches the educational process.
These efforts not only contribute to the creation of an accessible and high-quality educational environment, but also strengthen the ties between the university and the local community. Participation in educational initiatives helps to increase the general level of knowledge and skills of the population, which in turn contributes to the sustainable development of the region and to improving the quality of life.
