2015.

2015

Since September 1, 2015, Almaty Management University has introduced a new discipline into the bachelor’s degree program for 1st year students of all specialties, within which children learn to serve society and apply their knowledge in practice, working in nursing homes, homes for the disabled and other social organizations. The introduction of this course is in line with the University’s policy aimed at training qualified business professionals who are deeply aware of their civic responsibility to society.

Students of Almaty Management University have been involved in volunteer activities since the first year. A striking example of this is the unique discipline in Kazakhstan – Service Learning. Volunteering is primarily a call of the heart. Everyone decides for themselves whether to do it or not.

2014

In 2014, the Charity Wish Tree project was launched, within which citizens can fulfill the wishes of children from orphanages or low-income families. Such wish trees have already been a stunning success among residents of Almaty and Nur Sultan. To take part in the project, it is enough just to go up to the tree and pick a leaf with a desire. Everyone who tore off a piece of paper must independently bring a gift to the orphanage and personally present it to the child. Moreover, the number of torn leaves is completely unlimited.

Almaty Management University never stands aside and always supports any social initiatives. The University is raising a new generation, which in the future will be able to apply the acquired skills not only in life, but also in professional activities.
