AlmaU joins the PRME Champions Cohort 2026-2027 – an international community of universities and business schools recognized as leaders in responsible management education.
Our university became the only institution in the region included in this prestigious list.
The PRME Champion status is awarded through the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) initiative of the United Nations Global Compact to universities demonstrating sustainable and systemic results in integrating the principles of ethics, sustainability, and social responsibility into education, research, and institutional development.
AlmaU’s inclusion in the PRME Champions Cohort is a significant international recognition, confirming that the university’s strategic focus aligns with the global agenda for sustainable development and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This status reflects AlmaU’s consistent work in fostering responsible management thinking and developing educational and institutional practices oriented toward long-term socio-economic impact.
Selection for PRME Champion status is based on seven key principles of responsible management education, fully integrated into AlmaU’s strategy and practice: purpose, values, teaching, research, partnership, practice, and exchange.
Participation in the PRME Champions Cohort opens new opportunities for AlmaU for international academic collaboration, joint projects and research, and strengthens the university’s position in the global network of leading management and business schools.
Throughout 2026–2027, AlmaU will actively participate in the work of international PRME Champions working groups, share and adopt best practices, and contribute to shaping the future of responsible leadership and management education at the global level.
