Research Professor of the School of Management, PhD Aknur Zhidebekkyzy has been awarded the special prize named after Academician Naila Bazanova, established by the National Academy of Sciences under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The award ceremony took place on March 6 at the House of Science in Almaty on the eve of International Women’s Day.
The Naila Bazanova Award was presented to women scientists of Kazakhstan for the first time. It aims to recognize their contribution to the development of national science, support scientific initiatives, and promote the achievements of women researchers in the country.
The ceremony brought together leading women scientists, researchers, faculty members, as well as heads of scientific organizations and universities. The President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Akylbek Kurishbayev, delivered a welcoming speech highlighting the important role of women in the development of science and education.
The establishment of the Naila Bazanova Award has become an important step in recognizing the contribution of women scientists to the development of science in Kazakhstan. The award is intended to support researchers, inspire young scientists, and strengthen the role of women in the scientific community.
