
On March 13, a discussion meeting of the philosophical and cultural club “Zholshy” was held at AlmaU on the topic: “If artificial intelligence surpasses humans, will we still have meaning?”
The event was organized by the club members:
– Saera Azimova (Chair of the club), Ruzmina Abdurasilova, Gulbarshyn Orazova, and Kamila Zhanikeeva.
– The club is led by Nurzhan Yerkenovich Kulumzhanov.

Invited experts who took part in the discussion included:
- Aigul Kakimbekovna Sadvokasova – General Director of the Institute for Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Sociological Sciences.
- Kairat Zhanabayev – researcher, translator, Candidate of Philological Sciences, and lecturer at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

During the meeting, participants discussed philosophical and ethical issues related to the development of artificial intelligence. Special attention was given to the relationship between human and technological capabilities, the preservation of human significance, and the search for meaning in human activity in the context of rapid technological progress.
The discussion became a platform for open dialogue among students, researchers, and experts. Participants explored the philosophical, social, and cultural aspects of interaction between humans and modern technologies.
