
On May 15, 2026, Almaty Management University welcomed an official delegation from the Tyumen Region headed by Alexander Sergeevich Gorlatov, Deputy Director of the Department of Investment Policy and State Support for Entrepreneurship of the Tyumen Region.

The delegation also included:
• Daniil Alexandrovich Pavlovich – Head of the Educational Environment Development Department at the Department of Education and Science of the Tyumen Region;
• Yesengaliy Kamzeevich Ibrayev – Deputy of the Tyumen City Duma of the VIII convocation;
• Alexander Valeryevich Sakevich – CEO of the Oil and Gas Cluster Association;
• Denis Vasilyevich Neustroev – CEO of the Innovation Agency ANO;
• Andrey Nikolaevich Korotchenko – Director of INTECH LLC;
• Albert Vladimirovich Malshakov – Vice Rector for External Relations of Tyumen Industrial University.
The purpose of the visit was to strengthen interregional cooperation, exchange experience in the development of creative industries, and identify promising areas for future collaboration.

Representing AlmaU at the meeting were Rector Timur Buldybayev, Vice Rector for Academic Development Assel Aryn, Vice Rector for Science and Commercialization Renata Kudaibergenova, Vice Rector for Global Partnership Sholpan Tazabek, Director of the International Cooperation Office Aliya Akpayeva, and Director of the MBA Department Asem Kabulova.

During the meeting, Vice Rector for Academic Development Assel Aryn introduced the guests to AlmaU’s activities, highlighting the development of creative industries at the university, the work of the Graduate School of Business, schools and the Urban Center, as well as the implementation of the new educational concept “Tolyq Adam”.
The representatives of the Tyumen Region expressed particular interest in AlmaU’s individualized educational pathways and the flexibility of its educational model. The guests highly appreciated the university’s innovative approach to education, its focus on modern educational trends, and its commitment to interdisciplinary development.
