The fourth annual “Theory and practice of neuromarketing” course concludes at AlmaU

01.06.2026

The intensive two-week professional development course “Theory and Practice of Neuromarketing” has successfully concluded at the Neuromarketing and Neuromanagement Laboratory of the AlmaU School of Management. Over the course of 72 hours, participants explored modern methods of consumer behavior research, combining fundamental theory with hands-on practical studies.

A distinctive feature of this year’s program was the broad professional diversity of its participants. Alongside university faculty members, the course brought together practitioners from a wide range of fields, including management, linguistics, and the film industry. This interdisciplinary environment enabled participants to examine neuromarketing from both an academic perspective and the standpoint of real-world, often unconventional business challenges.

The course was delivered by AlmaU’s leading experts:

• Madina R. Smykova – Professor, Candidate of Economic Sciences
• Elmaira B. Orazgaliyeva – PhD, Research Associate Professor
• Akdana A. Abuzhalitova – Senior Lecturer, Master of Economic Sciences, Head of the Neuromarketing and Neuromanagement Laboratory
• Gulsanat Bekenova – Lecturer, Master of Economic Sciences, Junior Researcher at the Neuromarketing and Neuromanagement Laboratory

The course concluded on Friday, May 29, with the presentation and defense of individually developed applied projects.

The program ended with a ceremonial awarding of professional development certificates.

We congratulate all participants on successfully completing the course and wish them every success in applying the neuromarketing tools and knowledge gained throughout the program in their professional activities.
