A student of the Institute for Entrepreneurship at AlmaU, Alikhan Imanberdiyev, has been named the recipient of the prestigious BGA Student of the Year title.
In a single academic year, Alikhan achieved remarkable results:
• he published research on the Social Science Research Network (SSRN),
• placed 3rd at the international Mastercard Data Quest competition,
• and was named AlmaU’s “Freshman of the Year.”
Beyond his studies, he co-founded the EdTech venture RES (Real Experience Simulator), leads an initiative to modernize HR processes at the university, and coordinated volunteers at the SCO Summit and the World Nomad Games, earning letters of appreciation from Astana city officials.
Alikhan is also a Global Sustainable Impact Fellow with Lehigh University, represents AlmaU within Enactus, and is actively involved in student community life – notably as co-founder of Qadam, a club for ambitious students.
