Urban October is an international initiative aimed at supporting sustainable urban development. This initiative was launched by UN Habitat and has been held every year in October since 2014.
Urban October is the month when everyone talks and thinks about how to make our cities better. The main goal of Urban October is to raise awareness of sustainable urban development and support efforts to improve the quality of life in cities.
As part of Urban October, the Center for Urban Studies will host events, lectures and debates. They aim to discuss issues related to the urban environment, urbanization and sustainability, as well as to promote the most effective practices and solutions in this area.
