Almaty Management University (AlmaU) has successfully completed the AlmaU International Olympiad, an online international competition organized for foreign citizens interested in pursuing education in Kazakhstan. The Olympiad became an important opportunity for talented applicants from around the world to demonstrate their knowledge, motivation, and desire to study in Kazakhstan.
The Olympiad consisted of two stages. The first stage — submitting an online application — took place from February 19 to March 31. Participants were required to fill out a form and upload a package of documents, including a high school diploma with transcript, passport, motivation essay, and, if available, certificates of achievements and English language proficiency. Based on document screening, those who met the requirements were invited to the second stage — an online interview with university representatives, held from April 1 to April 8.
A total of 658 individuals registered for the Olympiad. Following the first stage, 37 participants were invited for interviews. As a result of both stages, 16 winners were awarded 100% scholarships for their studies at AlmaU. An additional 10 participants received 50% discounts on their educational programs.
