In the “Year of Blue-Collar Professions” announced by the Head of State, and in support of gender policy in the country, KazMunayGas continues to implement the JanAru educational program (Zhanaaru), aimed at developing women in blue-collar professions in the oil and gas industry.
The second training module was held at Almaty Management University, attended by 40 women in blue-collar professions from KMG’s subsidiaries and affiliates — Ozenmunaygas, MangistauMunaygas, EmbaMunaiGas, KarazhanbasMunai, KazTransOil, Atyrau Oil Refinery, Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant, Kazakhoil Aktobe, CASPI BITUM, OzenMunaiService, and KMG EP-Catering.
Participants included pumping station operators, operators responsible for maintaining reservoir pressure, oil and gas production, well exploration and control room management, chemical analysis lab assistants, electricians, commodity operators, and cooks.
The second module of the program included topics dedicated to eco-thinking—examining ways to minimize waste and increase energy efficiency, as well as digital and financial literacy. Special attention was paid to strengthening family values and preserving cultural traditions.
