As part of Prometheus Talks, the Director of the Center for Sustainable Development at AlmaU, Zhaniya Khaibullina, was invited to give an open lecture on “Water Resources and Management.”
It was a great opportunity to discuss how awareness of water starts with education — at school, where the foundation of sustainability and environmental responsibility is laid.
The link between universities and schools is not just about sharing knowledge — it’s a dialogue between generations that nurtures sustainable and responsible mindsets.
Such initiatives contribute directly to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 4, 6, 13, and 17) — Quality Education, Clean Water, Climate Action, and Partnerships for the Goals.
