On October 13, 2025, representatives of the Xi’an Association of Vocational Education in Shaanxi Province, China, visited Almaty Management University (AlmaU). Among the representatives were the Vice President of the association, Zhao Qingwei, as well as the Director of the association, Song Zeping, and a member of the Almaty Professional Education Inspection Group, Professor Liu Wenbin. The visit was initiated by the School of Transformative Humanities & Education of AlmaU.
The association representatives were given a campus tour of AlmaU, during which they were able to see the atrium, library, Qaynar Bulaq, Tatishev Wing, and AlmaU tea room.
After the campus tour, the association members met the First Vice-Rector of AlmaU, Timur Buldybaev. At the meeting, it was emphasized that Kazakhstan and China are important partners in the development of various sectors of the economy, including education.
During the meeting, the First Vice-Rector of AlmaU and the Vice-President of the Xi’an Association of Vocational Education in Shaanxi Province signed an agreement on further cooperation between the two organizations. The purpose of this agreement is to implement joint educational projects, one of which is the learning of Kazakh, Russian, and Chinese languages.
