The AlmaU team visited China to strengthen international relations, present scientific developments, and open new opportunities for partnership.

The university delegation spoke at a major international forum and scientific conference, presenting six expert reports. Among the key topics were:
- “Confucius and Abai: A Dialogue of Wisdom and Continuity” – a presentation by A.Zh. Sapargaliyeva, Dean of the School of Transformative Humanities and Education.
- “A Unified Security System in Central Asia: Challenges and Prospects” – a report by Kamran Guseynov, Director of the Institute of International Relations.

The trip began with a meeting with Mr. Wei Jiang, President of Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics (ZUFE). The conversation was productive and inspiring: both sides discussed academic exchange, joint research, and long-term projects.

The working sessions at ZUFE outlined new directions for cooperation, including:
-
launching two dual-degree master’s programs for the Institute of Law and the Institute of International Relations;
-
developing joint scientific initiatives;
-
expanding academic mobility for students and faculty.

In addition to the conference, the delegation visited leading Chinese technology companies, including Hikvision Digital Technology. Exploring advanced innovations provided strong momentum for new technological ideas and future collaborations.
The next stage of the visit was the School of Management at Zhejiang University, where priorities for scientific cooperation were identified and new educational initiatives proposed.
The final part of the trip took place at the School of Economics and the Center for Russian and Central Asian Studies at Fudan University. Discussions focused on prospects for international research and modern formats of academic partnership.

The outcome of the visit was the strengthening of ties between universities in Kazakhstan and China, the emergence of new research and educational projects, and most importantly, expanded opportunities for AlmaU students and faculty. Ahead lie joint research, mobility programs, and new international initiatives.
