On June 23, 2026, the Atrium Grand Hall hosted the annual Altyn Tamga and Altyn Alma Awards Ceremony, organized by AlmaU’s Students Development Center. The event brought together students, faculty members, and university staff to recognize individuals who demonstrated outstanding leadership, initiative, professionalism, and made a significant contribution to the development of the university community throughout the academic year.
The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Altyn Tamga Awards, one of AlmaU’s most prestigious student awards. This year’s winners were announced in the following nominations:
- Student of the Year — Arnur Kairly;
- Graduate of the Year — Daniil Potseluiko;
- Entrepreneur of the Year — Assem Kassybayeva;
- Activist of the Year — Khonazim Rakhmatkhanova;
- Freshman of the Year — Alikhan Imanberdiyev;
- International Student of the Year — Nikita Sharafetdinov;
- Designer of the Year — Saida Latypayeva;
- Videomaker of the Year — Ualikhan Temirbek;
- Project of the Year — FINPLAY;
- Student Club of the Year — SportLife.
One of the most memorable parts of the ceremony was the winners’ acceptance speeches. Each laureate shared their emotions, reflected on their personal journey, and expressed gratitude to their mentors, teammates, friends, and families, emphasizing that every achievement is the result of dedication, support, and a continuous commitment to personal growth.
Following the Altyn Tamga Awards, the Students Development Center presented the annual Altyn Alma Awards, a motivational recognition honoring student who have made a meaningful contribution to student life and the development of the university community.
The Altyn Alma Award winners were:
- Leader of the Year — Jasmin Mamet-Aliyeva;
- Staff of the Year — Alexandr Shulkin;
- Volunteer of the Year — Anna Novosselova;
- Artist of the Year — Anel Suindikova;
- Promo of the Year — Anel Kutzhan (La Premiere – The Heist);
- Sweet Couple of the Year — Abzal Baltabay and Diana Khe.
