Professor HeeSoo Choi, Ph.D., Director of the Institute of K-Culture Creative Contents, Professor in the Department of History and Historical Content, and Professor in the Graduate School’s Global Culture Content Program at SangMyung University (Republic of Korea), paid a working visit to AlmaU.
Representing AlmaU at the meeting were Sholpan Tazabek, Vice Rector for Global Partnerships, Assel Kamza, Director of the Center for Creative Industries, Aliya Akpayeva, Director of the International cooperation department, and Oh Sang Ho, Lecturer.
During the meeting, the participants discussed promising areas for expanding cooperation between AlmaU and SangMyung University. In particular, they exchanged views on the potential implementation of a 2+2 dual-degree pathway, as well as the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that could serve as a foundation for future academic collaboration.
The discussion also focused on the potential involvement of SangMyung University students in international creative projects implemented by AlmaU’s Center for Creative Industries. In addition, the participants exchanged expertise and explored possible avenues for cooperation in the fields of creative industries, academic mobility, and cultural exchange.
The meeting was held in a constructive atmosphere and marked an important step toward strengthening international cooperation between AlmaU and SangMyung University. Both sides expressed their mutual interest in further developing the partnership and continuing discussions on the proposed areas of collaboration.
