The HDSE program unites outstanding students from Kazakhstan, Central Asia, and the United States to address pressing social and environmental challenges through design thinking, innovation, and social entrepreneurship. Throughout the intensive, interdisciplinary teams worked directly with local communities, conducted field research, and developed practical, culturally grounded solutions with potential for real-world implementation.
During the final showcase, student teams will present social enterprise concepts and prototypes focused on:
