On October 21, 2024, AlmaU hosted a delegation from Constructor University (Germany) to discuss prospects for international collaboration.
The delegation included:
- VP of the International Outreach and MD – Prof. Thomas Auf Der Heyde
- Eugene Gudkoff – VP of Sales
- Eugene Strelnikov – VP of Customer Success
During the meeting, both universities presented their institutions and explored potential areas of cooperation. The discussions were lively and engaging, with numerous questions and a strong mutual interest among participants.
Special attention was given to AlmaU’s Technology Commercialization Center and the School of Digital Technologies. Key topics of discussion included academic processes, dual degree programs, and student and faculty exchange initiatives.
Prof. Thomas Auf Der Heyde also suggested focusing on collaboration in the field of logistics and developing master’s-level programs in Data Science. Despite the high demand for IT-related programs at Constructor University, the representatives emphasized that the institution also has significant potential in fields such as chemistry, social sciences, and other disciplines, opening additional opportunities for partnership.
It was noted that Constructor University had not previously accepted researchers in logistics, but growing interest in this area could serve as a promising start for new initiatives.
In addition, the two parties discussed opportunities for joint research projects and participation in international conferences. The delegation expressed high regard for AlmaU’s efforts in digital innovation and showed readiness to take further steps in advancing collaboration.
