The Center for Sustainable Development and ESG together with the Center for Support and Support of Inclusive Education Satbayev University organized an important event, the exhibition “Eco-art”.
With a mission to support the Sustainable Development Goals aimed at reducing inequality and to demonstrate that everyone can play a role in preserving the environment and creating a more equitable society.
The Eco-Art exhibition was held in the AlmaU Atrium and lasted from October 13 to 23, 2023, providing a unique opportunity for visitors to enjoy art and be inspired by caring for nature and social justice.
This event, dedicated to the Day of Persons with Disabilities in the Republic of Kazakhstan, has become a platform for amazing environmental fakes, drawings and photographs on the theme “Autumn in Almaty”. These works of art were created by talented children who have special educational needs. Each work has become not only an art, but also a voice expressing the most important environmental issues and calling for action.
Visitors of the exhibition could enjoy unique installations, paintings, sculptures and many others, which made the event really impressive and significant. It is noted that children and teachers from different educational institutions took part in the exhibition, which underlines the wide scale and importance of this initiative.
At the end of the event, well-deserved certificates were awarded to all participants, emphasizing their contribution and dedication to this noble initiative.
