On June 16, a meeting was held with Professor Michel Plaisent from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), Canada, a distinguished scholar in management and information technologies. Professor Plaisent is internationally recognized for his significant contributions to digital education, innovation in management research, and the development of international academic partnerships.
The discussion focused on expanding cooperation between the institutions and identifying new opportunities for academic and research collaboration. Key areas of potential partnership included the development of a Double Degree MBA program, the engagement of visiting professors, and the involvement of international research supervisors for doctoral students.
The meeting was attended by:
- Daniyar Medetov, Associate Dean for Research, International Affairs and Industry Engagement, and Director of the Institute of Entrepreneurship, Graduate School of Business;
- Moldir Malshy, Deputy Dean for International Cooperation and Accreditation, School of Digital Technologies and Economics;
- Saltanat Masakova, Deputy Dean for International Cooperation and Accreditation, School of Management;
- Akbope Aussadyk, Deputy Director, International Cooperation Department.

Participants exchanged views on strengthening academic mobility, joint educational initiatives, and collaborative research projects. The meeting marked an important step toward establishing a long-term partnership that will contribute to the internationalization of academic programs and the enhancement of research excellence.
