On September 29, 2023, the Ambassador of India to Kazakhstan Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad, Consul General of India, Director of the Swami Vivekanand Sanjay Vedi Cultural Center visited Almaty Management University. The guests were given a campus tour, after which the delegation met with AlmaU President and Founder Asylbek Kozhakhmetov and representatives of the rector’s office represented by vice-rectors, as well as with the deans of AlmaU schools. During the meeting, the Indian delegation was presented with general information about AlmaU and Vice Rector for Commercialization Kendrick Davis White presented the commercialization center.
Further prospects for academic cooperation between AlmaU and universities in India were also discussed. The deans of the School of Digital Technologies and the School of Entrepreneurship and Innovation spoke about their intentions to enter the Indian educational market. And the School of Hospitality and Tourism and AlmaU Sharmanov School of Health Sciences presented their projects, where the Indian delegation was particularly interested in the latest school with its vision of the development of medicine.
