On September 15, 2023, a delegation of the National Academy of Sciences under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan visited AlmaU at the invitation of the Dean of the School of Politics and Law, PhD, Associate Professor Yessirkepova Madina.
On the part of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan participated Bilyalov Darkhan – Vice President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Orazaliev Kanat – Director of the Department for Public Relations; Alikhanov Kuantar – Head of the Department; Department of Science; Ramazan Bekbol – Head of the Department of Science, deputy of the Maslikhat of Almaty; Seitov Rashid – Chief expert of the Department of Science.
The guests were received by Vice-Rector for Science Sarkeev Bakytzhan, Director of Information and Resource Management Baldybaev Timur, Director of the Center for Sustainable Development and ESG Ainar Nurgaliev, Dean of the School of Politics and Law Yesirkepova Madina, as well as Moldagalieva Dinara from the Center for Commercialization.
During the meeting, Vice-Rector for Science B. Sarkeev made a presentation “On the activities of AlmaU”, told about the achievements of the University, about priority areas of research, about partners and further scientific projects. Colleagues shared their ideas and plans for further work.
Kuantar Alikhanov spoke about the activities of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, about the commercialization of scientific projects and plans for the coming year.
During the meeting, issues of the role of science in the Republic of Kazakhstan were discussed and at the end of the meeting, questions were raised about the organization of the annual International conference “Public Trust Social Capital”
As a result, an agreement was reached to continue joint work on the commercialization and popularization of science, joint scientific events, namely the joint holding of the International Conference “Public Trust Social Capital”, and the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between AlmaU and the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Colleagues invited AlmaU to participate in the “1st Business and Science Event” which will be held on September 30, 2023 at the Swiss hotel.
