On August 21, Almaty Management University (AlmaU) held a meeting with Pierre Pimpie, Member of the European Parliament from France. The meeting took place as part of the visit of a European delegation to Kazakhstan and was organized with the support of Zhanybek Yessimseitov, Vice-President of the Belgian organization Kazakhstan-EU Gateway.
The European delegation also included Antoine Mallard and Simon Delval, Assistants to Mr. Pimpie.
AlmaU was represented by Rector Timur Buldybayev, Vice-Rector for Global Partnerships Sholpan Tazabek, Vice-Rector for Science and Commercialization Renata Kudaibergenova, Dean of the School of Transformative Humanities and Education Aizhan Sapargalieva, Professor of Practice at the School of Digital Technologies and Economics Dmitriy Ogay, and Director of the International Cooperation Department Aliya Akpayeva.
During the meeting, the participants had the opportunity to get acquainted and discuss prospects for further developing AlmaU’s cooperation with European countries, including France.
The discussion focused on potential cooperation in higher education, academic mobility, joint educational initiatives, and expert engagement. The participants also highlighted the importance of strengthening ties between Kazakhstani and European higher education institutions.
The meeting provided a valuable platform for establishing new contacts and exploring opportunities to expand AlmaU’s international partnerships and cooperation with European partners.
