AlmaU announces a competition for full-time research positions aimed at advancing research activities, strengthening the University’s scientific potential, developing research schools, and attracting leading scholars.
The competition is open for the following qualification categories:
• Research Fellow;
• Research Assistant Professor;
• Research Associate Professor;
• Research Professor.
The competition is open across the School of Management, School of Digital Technologies and Economics, Media and Film School, Graduate School of Business, Sharmanov School of Health Sciences, and the School of Social Sciences and Transformative Humanities.
Application deadline: July 7, 2026 (inclusive), until 5:00 PM.
Application Procedure
To participate in the competition, applicants must complete the online application form and submit the following documents:
• a Curriculum Vitae (CV) indicating academic degrees, professional experience, and research achievements;
• scanned copies of higher and postgraduate education diplomas, as well as documents confirming awarded academic and/or scientific degrees and academic titles;
• copies of documents confirming work experience;
• information on research projects, scientific publications, and patents completed during the last five years, indicating the applicant’s role in each project;
• information on experience in supervising research personnel and reviewing scientific publications indexed in Scopus and/or Web of Science, as well as journals recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, during the last five years.
Applicants may additionally submit documents confirming their research achievements over the past five years, including recommendation letters, references, certificates, awards, and other materials demonstrating their professional qualifications, research accomplishments, and professional reputation.
