On September 28, the AlmaU School of Management hosted a roundtable discussion titled “MICE Industry and Business Tourism: A Reset and New Opportunities for Hotels.”
The event brought together representatives of the hospitality and tourism industries, business event organizers, and professional education to discuss current issues in the development of the MICE industry and business tourism in Almaty.
The roundtable was moderated by hotel industry professional Vyacheslav Masalitin.
The business programme featured presentations by experts who shared their practical experience, professional insights, and perspectives on the future development of the industry.

Particular attention was paid to cooperation among MICE market stakeholders, the development of the tourism industry, the organization of major business events, the role of hotels in the MICE segment, and new opportunities for the development of business tourism in Almaty.
The roundtable concluded with a panel discussion, during which participants addressed key issues facing the MICE industry, exchanged professional experience, and explored prospects for the further development of business tourism and the hospitality business.
The roundtable was held in a constructive and professional atmosphere, providing an opportunity to exchange knowledge, ideas, and practical cases, as well as to establish new professional connections and develop business contacts.
